Receipt transmittals, [ca.1984]-[ongoing].

Approximately twenty-five sections of Agriculture and Industries collect money by inspection fees, the sale of licenses, or levying of fines. Petroleum Commodities and Weights and Measures are two such sections. The section sends the checks with the transmittal to the Accounting Section. Accounting verifies the amount and signs a copy of the transmittal to acknowledge receipt and returns it to the sender. Then Accounting deposits the money with the State treasurer on a Treasurers Receipt Form (series S-4-24).
